Water-jet cleaning

Water-jet cleaning systems clear pipes of residue by injecting a high-pressure jet of water. Unlike mechanical systems that use cables to unclog drains, water-jet systems also remove build-up from inner pipe walls; other cleaning systems cannot do this.

Over time, fat residue and excrement form thickening layers of fat that line the inner walls of drainage pipes. Restaurants and other food service providers know the critical importance of keeping drainage systems clean; indeed, health and safety inspectors are particularly vigilant in this respect.

In addition to their unpleasant smell, blocked pipes may cause back-up and overflows that pose a threat to human health. An effective response must include a thorough, careful repair job.
